Danine has more than 20 years experience with medical nutrition therapy for children and adults with Epilepsy. She has been part of the ketogenic diet team with the Epilepsy and Brain Mapping Program at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA. The team received their training for ketogenic diet at John's Hopkins Hospital by Dr. John Freeman and Mrs. Millicent Kelly, RD, 1995. She has worked with the Neurology Department at Kaiser Permanente and as a consultant for the UCLA Adult Neurology Department on Westwood campus. She is currently part of the ketogenic diet team for the UCLA Pediatric Neurology Department. Danine has a private practice program helping children and adults through medical nutrition therapy. She became a member of the Ketogenic Diet Advisory Board in 2008. She co-authored a chapter in the How to Maintain and Support a Ketogenic Diet Program in the book Epilepsy and the Ketogenic Diet, published in 2004. She is active in the Ketogenic Diet community as a professional speaker.
